I am a Witch

Tree of Life

I’m not a satan worshipper, or a moral degenerate or one that believes in sin.
I don’t sacrifice virgins, animals or small children.
I don’t know Silver Raining Wolf, Shaking Willow Tree, or Dances with Wolves on a personal basis,
but I’m sure they’re very spiritual people with beautiful faces.

I have a Priestess, not a minister, and have faith in the Powers That Be.
I believe in many Gods and Goddesses, and live by the rule of three.
In you one omnipotent God, please don’t try to force me to believe.
I’m glad that makes you happy, but that belief is not for me.

I proudly wear my pentacle, not caring who may see.
Why must you ridicule and scorn me for being me?
I believe in acceptance, not conversion, so please do not try.
Have you ever tried to understand our ways or just ask me why?
Celebration, not oppression is the key for all
The God and Goddess hold me and will not let me fall.

I’ll cast a spell and you say a prayer.
We are all on this earth together; we can all show we care.
May light and love be yours on the path that you have chose
May we meet again sometime as friends and never again as foes.
